The Boston Celtics are now down 3-1 against the Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference Finals. That would be a scary number for anyone else, but this postseason, being down 3-1 has taken a different meaning thanks to the Denver Nuggets. Mike Malone’s team has known how to overcome two 3-1 deficit this postseason against the Utah Jazz and the Los Angeles Clippers, respectively, and now are trying to have an easier series against the Lakers.

The Boston Celtics find themselves in the same position and their coach is trying to emulate the Nuggets, although he knows it’ll be a hard job to carry out. Following Game 4 of the series, Stevens talks about what his team needs to do now to overcome this situation. He’s conscious that things won’t come easy but he knows it can be done.

“I don’t know what the historical odds are. We just have to win on Friday. We can’t win three games on Friday. We have to win one,” Stevens said, via Keith Smith of Yahoo Sports.

After a great night from Tyler Herro, the Heat are trying to finish the job on Friday and make it to their first NBA Finals since 2014. However, the Celtics will try to damage their plans, make history once again and play for the NBA championship next month.

We still have to wait to see what is going to happen, but the picture doesn’t look that good for the C’s. That was the same thing that people said about the Nuggets and now they’re fighting for a spot in the biggest series. The C’s will try to do the same in the next couple of days.
