Nick Young only played in four games during the 2018-2019 season, but Swaggy P is officially campaigning for a comeback where he spent his best years in the NBA.
As the league prepares for the return of the season, some players have elected not to play at all for the sake of preserving their own health and safety with COVID-19 still raging around the globe. Avery Bradley is among the growing list of folk who are sitting out the Orlando games and the Lakers are expected to sign his replacement.
Of course, Mr. Young was quick to offer up his services on Twitter.

Young has a pretty successful history with the Lakers. Though the team saw limited success, “Uncle P” had his best years as a player there, averaging 13 points and 2.3 rebounds on 40.5% shooting and 37% shooting from the arc.
Considering the Lakers could use both guard depth and perimeter shooting, Young is certainly a viable candidate to fill Bradley’s shoes — but he’s not the only one.
J.R. Smith is considered the front-runner for various reasons and if Swaggy P wants any hope of making the roster, he’ll have to prove he’s better equipped to help the team than anyone else — including Smith.
Either way, it’ll be interesting to see what the Lakers decide in the coming days and weeks leading up to the Orlando tip-off.
