Isaiah Thomas: ‘Giannis Antetokounmpo Will Leave The Bucks For A Bigger Market’

2 Min Read

Isaiah Thomas made a bold claim about Giannis Antetokounmpo and his future with the Milwaukee Bucks. Thomas is in quarantine and he started an Instagram live where he was chilling with his kids, but also took the opportunity to talk about things going on in the NBA and even to talk about the coronavirus.

At some point, IT explains Giannis will leave the Bucks for a bigger market, in an attempt to sell more shoes.

Giannis has been linked with a move away from Milwaukee on several occasions, but the Greek Freak has always made it clear that he wants to stay in Wisconsin. The Los Angeles Lakers and Golden State Warriors are seen as two of the biggest candidates to acquire his services in the case he decides to end his tenure with the Bucks.

Antetokounmpo can become a free agent next year and several teams will try to lure him away from the Fiserv Forum, but we still need to wait until that moment arrives. The 25-year-old has become one of the best players in the league, even winning the 2019 MVP award.

Some say he could make the decision of leaving the Bucks if they can’t reach the NBA Finals this year, so this season might be more important than we believe for Milwaukee. This season, Giannis was leading his team to a league-best record 53-12, en route to win the East and compete for the title.
