Kareem Abdul-Jabbar reacted to Michael Jordan being named the greatest college basketball player of all time recently. ESPN launched polling to decide which player is considered the best to ever do it at a collegiate level.

The contest featured great names, including Magic Johnson, Ralph Sampson, Stephen Curry, and Kareem -who was legally named Lew Alcindor at that time. Despite the tournament having all those big names, the winner of the polling was none other than North Carolina product Michael Jordan, beating Larry Bird, who defended Indiana in college.

Plenty of fans were pissed off after the results, blaming ESPN and the people who voted for Jordan and Bird to get in the final. Well, not only fans were fed up with this, but also players, including some of the likes that were involved in the contest. For instance, Kareem, had a big laugh after he learned about the results.

And the winner of the college basketball GOAT bracket is … Michael Jordan 🐐

After ESPN announced the winner of the tournament, the Los Angeles Lakers legend posted a simple but strong message on Twitter, showing how he felt about the contest and how everything went down.

LMAO!!!’

On the final day of the tournament, people noted that there were players who deserved that honor a lot more than Jordan, with most of the fans pointing out at Abdul-Jabbar and his decorated career with the UCLA Bruins. He won three national championships with the Bruins, having one of the most terrific stints in college basketball, surpassing anything that Jordan could do.

This guy was great since he was a young baller and the things he did in college were proof of what he was going to do in the association.
