NBA Fans React After Giannis Antetokounmpo Appears In Zoom Meeting Pic With The Warriors

2 Min Read

You can’t mess with NBA fans, even with hypothetical situations. A recent publication by Bleacher Report raised a lot of eyebrows around the NBA world, adding fuel to one of the biggest rumors in the league for quite some time now.

It’s been normal seeing imaginary scenarios where fans have to pick one house, one island, one table, and more locations to hang out with some celebrities, athletes or historic people. Given the current times we’re living, things have changed and fans had to pick which Zoom call they’d like to join on Thursday.

After the coronavirus outbreak, several employers have decided to work from home, using the Zoom app to communicate with their employees. The NBA hasn’t been the exception of this and B/R took advantage of that. They created a good list of calls to join, but several fans were quick to point out how Giannis Antetokounmpo appeared in a call with the Golden State Warriors.

The Warriors are reportedly interested in landing Giannis next year, and this image only added fuel to those rumors.

While some fans joked about the pic, others went further and claimed the image was an attempt to help Golden State lure Giannis. This was only a hypothetical pic, but as stated before, not everybody is ready to see this.

Whether it was an unfortunate consequence or it was made on purpose, NBA fans weren’t that happy with the post and they were quick to demonstrate it.
