There are plenty of reports out there, but today we’re going to take a look at some of the most important rumors in the association right now. We’re entering important stages of the season and nobody wants to miss anything.

So, we have collected the hottest rumors around the league. If any of these moves turn out to be a reality, some major changes will take place in the NBA.

Raptors Could Trade For Kevin Love

The current NBA champions aren’t backing down and are reportedly looking for pieces to add to improve their chances to dominate the Eastern Conference once again. That’s why their President of Basketball Operations Masai Ujiri could once again make big moves.

According to Chris Mannix of Sports Illustrated, after seeing his team’s current performance, there are several players on the team’s radar, including Kevin Love. The big man has remained as one of the biggest figures in Cleveland, but there is no doubt that he could be a great addition for a team trying to sign their name on the list of contenders.

Besides Love, Tristan Thompson of the Cleveland Cavaliers, Jrue Holiday of the New Orleans Pelicans, and Robert Covington of the Minnesota Timberwolves could land in Toronto.

4 Teams Are Interested In CJ McCollum

NBA Twitter had a lot of activity in recent hours, as rumors suggesting CJ McCollum could be on the move saw the light. When the Trail Blazers took the court to warm-up before Wednesday night’s Blazers and Knicks game, McCollum was the main character of some rumors claiming his team could ship him.

It all started when people on Twitter were discussing how ESPN’s NBA Insider Adrian Wojnarowski was talking about trade rumors on ESPN regarding the Trail Blazers shooting guard. According to these comments, the Miami Heat, Boston Celtics, Milwaukee Bucks, and Philadelphia 76ers are all interested in McCollum.

There are no reasons to believe this is true, as the Blazers have said in the past that they are not going to break the duo of McCollum and Damian Lillard. McCollum agreed to a three-year, $100 million contract extension this past July, meaning he now has five years left on his deal.

In what is now a deleted tweet, the proposed trade was 76ers forward Al Horford for McCollum, but the Dominican’s contract is huge, which wouldn’t be a good move for Portland.

CJ cannot be dealt until Jan, 30 and it’s very doubtful Portland would want to take on that contract of Horford. And there has NEVER been any indication Blazers would trade CJ. OK? https://t.co/yRyqACsjJo

A Blockbuster Trade That Could Send Karl-Anthony Towns To The Boston Celtics

Fadeaway World

The Minnesota Timberwolves could be making a huge move in the near future. According to Ethan Strauss of the Athletic, he hints that Karl-Anthony Towns is “unhappy” with the Wolves and that has led to any kind of rumors surrounding the player and the team.

Strauss writes that “the Golden State Warriors have been monitoring Towns’ situation in Minnesota”, but in this piece, we broke down a blockbuster trade that could see the Dominican big man landing in Boston to play with the Celtics.

The proposed trade would be Karl-Anthony Towns in exchange for Jayson Tatum, Marcus Smart, Daniel Theis, the 2020 First-Round Pick from the Memphis Grizzlies and Boston’s first-round picks in 2020 and 2022.

Lakers Are Prioritizing Backup Point Guard When Improving Roster

The Los Angeles Lakers are looking to improve their backup point guard position when upgrading their roster. That’s according to Dave McMenamin of ESPN, who revealed that’s the Lakers number one priority when the time to make changes in their staff arrives.

Rajon Rondo has struggled as LeBron James’ backup and that’s an issue the team needs to figure out as the playoffs approach. Having that in mind, they’ve been linked with Darren Collison, who is aiming for a February return.

Both Lakers and Clippers are linked with the point guard and this rivalry could extend to this point where they go at it to sign players.

Draymond Green Is The Perfect Target For The Clippers

Fadeaway World

The Los Angeles Clippers are struggling to find the same shape they had at the beginning of the season, but there could be a solution for them in one of their most hated rivals. Draymond Green of the Warriors would be a tremendous addition to the Clips for all the problems he would solve at the Staples Center.

Even though the season started very well for them, the Clippers’ level has decreased when it comes to assists and defensively speaking, two issues that Green would fix as soon as he lands in L.A.

In this article, we write about a trade that would send Draymond Green and Willie Cauley-Stein to Los Angeles for Montrezl Harrell, Lou Williams, Jerome Robinson and Moe Harkless. Draymond is a great facilitator for this team, as well as one of the best defenders in the league. His arrival would take the Clippers to the next level.

The Top 5 Best Free Agents Left On The Market Right Now

(Credit: Fadeaway World)

We’re entering a period where teams start to add the pieces they consider helpful for their targets and this year we have some free agents who could still make an impact in the league. We have listed the 5 best free agents left on the market that could still do good in the NBA.

Joakim Noah, Jeff Green, JR Smith, Jamal Crawford and Jeremy Lin are still unsigned, but that could change soon and here is why. Noah was a decent player with the Memphis Grizzlies last season and is a veteran big man that could do a lot for several squads. It’s not a shock that he was pretty close to joining the Lakers before they signed Dwight Howard.

Jeff Green was never able to live up to the expectations around him, but he can be a great addition to a contender. Green was surprisingly waived by the Utah Jazz and nobody picked him.

Now, JR Smith, Jeremy Lin and Jamal Crawford have all proven their value in the league, but they somehow remain free agents. Smith has starred in some antics off the court, so perhaps that hurts his case to return to the league.

The other two, however, it’s odd to see neither Lin or Crawford as part of the league right now. Jeremy is better than a lot of backup point guards in the association and given the level he’s been showing in China, it wouldn’t be crazy if we see him returning to the US in the future.

Crawford, on the other hand, is one of the most-skilled scorers this game has seen. For instance, he scored 50 points in the last game he played last season, so it’s not like he’s washed. This guy wants to play, he still can do a lot of good things on the floor, so why not give him a chance.
