Stephen Curry had a hilarious reaction when he heard Kendrick Lamar’s ‘Not Like Us’ after Team USA’s victory over Serbia in a pre-Olympic practice game. He told LeBron James that he was tired of hearing the song and that there were other songs from their country. LeBron James responded that he still loves the song.

Steph Curry: “Damn with this song. It’s not the only song in America!”

LeBron James: “I love it.”

Clearly, Curry is a little tired of listening to the song. And in fairness to him, the song has been blowing in popularity for over two months since it dropped.  Kendrick Lamar’s hit track was dropped as a response to his rival Drake, with whom he was engaged in a massive rap beef over the last few months.

LeBron James has made it no secret how much of a fan he is of both Kendrick Lamar and the song. James was seen dancing to the song when it first came out, and he even attended Kendrick’s Juneteenth special concert in Los Angeles last month, along with Russell Westbrook, James Harden, and DeMar DeRozan.

Regardless of Curry’s reaction to the song, he will be happy with Team USA’s great victory over Serbia. He had a great performance last night, scoring 24 points, along with 3 rebounds. As for LeBron James, he scored 11 points and provided 2 assists in the win.

LeBron James And Stephen Curry Enjoying Playing With Each Other

LeBron James and Stephen Curry are getting to play proper, competitive basketball with each other for the first time in their careers. James and Curry have been on opposite ends of the court in some of the greatest playoff match-ups in NBA history. But now, we see them play together in a competitive environment, unlike the NBA All-Star game.

Curry recently spoke about how much fun he is having playing alongside LeBron James on Team USA. The two have also reportedly admired each other’s games during Team USA practice sessions. Their camaraderie now is a far cry from their intense rivalry during the late 2010s.

Both LeBron and Curry noted that there was tension between the two of them during their rivalry over the NBA championship. This is far from surprising, as both players are elite competitors who want to win at all costs. Playing in such high-stakes games against each other was bound to cause some friction between the two.

But since LeBron James moved from the Cavaliers to the Lakers, their rivalry has gotten less heated. They have only played one playoff series against each other since then, with James and the Lakers getting the better of the Warriors. But there doesn’t seem to be any animosity over those games between the two anymore.

Curry and LeBron will be looking to lead Team USA to their fifth consecutive Olympic gold medal this summer. And with the two superstars playing at their best, it wouldn’t be surprising to see Team USA win it all in Paris once again.
