Kevin Durant didn't hesitate to say he'd be a better NFL tight-end than Draymond Green during a recent interview.

In an interview with Kay Adams, Kevin Durant claimed that he would thrive over Draymond Green as a tight end, and pointed to Draymond’s terrible Michigan State performance as a football player. When pressed about his height being a factor, Durant noted that he could play quickly as he had played guard in the NBA before.

“Me. You seen Draymond’s footage? It looks terrible. Draymond played one spring game with Michigan State. I guess he was talking trash to all the players so they told him to come out for the spring game. And he looked horrible.”

“I can get down, I played guard in the NBA. So I can get down a little lower than you think.”

Kay Adams: “Who would make a better tight end, you or Draymond Green?”

Kevin Durant: “You seen Draymond's footage? It look terrible."

Durant also made some pointed jokes about his height, noting that he was 6’9, and any player claiming that they were taller than that but appeared to be shorter than him were lying about their height. Durant seems to be all smiles heading into the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Durant looks to win his fourth consecutive Olympic gold medal, making him the most successful player in men’s Team USA basketball history. Durant will be joined by Stephen Curry and LeBron James on Team USA, making this one of the greatest teams ever put together for a tournament.

The team has a lot of confidence in Durant. Recently, Anthony Edwards spoke about KD being the alpha on Team USA, the guy everyone trusts to make big shots in late-game situations. Durant has shown in his career that he can be the person who makes those big shots.

Kevin Durant Talks About Stephen Curry And LeBron James

Kevin Durant spoke recently about himself, Stephen Curry, and LeBron James comprising of the big three in the NBA. Durant tried to shut down those talks, noting that the NBA has too many good players beyond them for the trio to be considered the big three of the league.

“You can say LeBron, Steph, and myself, but (the) NBA is different, there are no big threes it’s like a big 30. But the 3 oldest that’s still playing at a high level – (It) is me, LeBron, and Steph… Kawhi and Paul George. You can’t just put 3 in there.”

Durant is still one of the best players in the NBA playing at an elite level. Last season, KD averaged 27.1 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 5.0 assists with the Phoenix Suns.

While the Suns got humiliated in the NBA playoffs by Anthony Edwards and the Timberwolves, there is no denying that KD is still one of the absolute best players in the league today.

Durant and Team USA will not be focusing on their respective playoff results, as they are now looking to win gold at the Paris Olympics. Team USA is considered the odds-on-favorite to win the tournament for the fifth time in a row.

They will face heavy competition, but with the incredible roster they’ve assembled, they have an incredible shot to win the tournament.
