Kevin Durant has always been known as a student of the game, but he took it to another level tonight when he was spotted working on his jump shot while at the club. A fan shared a video to social media where the former MVP can be seen practicing his shot motion while surrounded by a crowd of people partying.

Durant is clearly having a good time during the offseason but isn’t getting complacent when it comes to his game. Perhaps his working on his shot at the club will come in handy ahead of preseason training, as it will make adjusting back to the grind of the basketball season a lot easier for him.
KD has been in the news this weekend, primarily for non-basketball reasons. A picture of what appeared to be Durant’s Tinder profile went viral over the weekend, but that turned out to be fake. Kevin didn’t miss the opportunity to mock fans on social media for falling for the fake picture.
Durant practicing his shooting motion in the club could allow him to improve his shooting this year, although he is already one of the best in the league. Over his career, Durant has shot 50.1% from the field and 38.7% from the three-point line, and many consider KD to be one of the greatest shooters in history.
While it is all fun and games now for Durant, fans cannot forget that he will be locked in when it comes to next season. KD and the Suns got swept in the first round of the NBA playoffs by the Timberwolves. It was a massive disappointment for the Suns, as they had acquired Bradley Beal in the offseason, and were expected to at least make a deep run in the playoffs.
Kevin Durant Has Already Begun Practicing For Next Season
While Kevin Durant was most likely just having a good time at the club, there is no doubt that KD would have begun working on his game for the following season. He will get a chance to play some elite hoops during the summer with Team USA at the Olympics, as he reunites with LeBron James in Team USA for the first time in 12 years.
With a gold medal win in this year’s Olympic games in Paris, Durant will become the most decorated men’s basketball player in Olympic history with 4 gold medals, and tied with several women’s basketball stars as the second-most decorated basketball player, behind Diana Taurasi, Sue Bird, and Teresa Edwards.
Durant would tie the Olympic medal count of Carmelo Anthony, and in fact, would have more gold medals than him, as Edwards won a bronze medal at the 2004 Olympics in Greece.
But after the Olympics, Durant will shift his focus to the Suns and try to win his third NBA championship. Durant has struggled to find championship success since leaving Golden State and will try to fix that next season. With a teammate like Devin Booker by his side, Durant has a strong chance to add a third chip to his trophy cabin next season.
