LeBron James sent a powerful message of support, showing his excitement at Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans notched 1000 yards in his 10th consecutive NFL season, the second-most in NFL history.

“I mean cause he’s LIKE THAT!!! A BEAST!! Oh and somebody gone get a MONSTER If they don’t (pay) him up! I (Love) Mike Evans.”

Evans needs to pull this off next season as well if he wants to tie NFL legend Jerry Rice for the record. LeBron will be rooting for him to break the legend’s record, similar to how he broke Kareem Abdul-Jabbar‘s scoring record. The new generation of athletes support each other a lot, whether it’s on social media or in interviews.

James is a massive NFL fan and even had the chance to transition to the football league during the 2011 NBA lockout. Thankfully, we NBA fans continued to enjoy his presence and greatness over what’s been 13 years since that offer.

To put that in context, Evans was graduating high school when James could’ve gone to the NFL. Today, he’s getting congratulated by the NBA’s all-time leading scorer for going 10/10 in his career for 1000-yard seasons.

LeBron James Seen At The Los Angeles Rams vs. Cleveland Browns Game

This Sunday was one of the four dates this season that the NBA has no scheduled games, with two of those days already behind us. James decided to enjoy his day off and attend the Los Angeles Rams game against his hometown Cleveland Browns, his favorite team in the NFL.

James wasn’t alone at the game, as Kareem Abdul-Jabbar was also in attendance. The graphic declaring that the two greatest scorers the NBA has ever seen are in the same building at the same time got James hyped as well, sharing it on social media.

James might be wearing LA colors right now due to his allegiance with the Lakers, but had to be upset to spend his off day watching the Browns lose 36-19 against the Rams.

LeBron James Will Miss A Lakers Game To Watch Bronny’s USC Debut

This isn’t the last time we’re going to see James at some other sporting event on his off day, as James has announced his intention to his teammates and the world to miss a Lakers game if it is on the same night as Bronny James’ USC debut.

“It’s exciting. I’m looking forward to his first game… I already told my teammates that if they’re playing on the same day we’re playing, then I’m going to catch them the next game. Family over everything.”

Thankfully, this has resulted in mostly sensible reactions from fans and analysts, though there is a small minority trying to criticize him for this. With everything the James family went through after Bronny’s cardiac arrest in the summer, his return to the court is a triumphant moment that the family will want to celebrate together.

Even if Bronny’s health scare hadn’t happened, it would have been completely okay for James to miss a game and watch his son’s NCAA debut. ‘Family over everything’ is not just a cool quote for James, it’s something that a lot of people hold dear to their hearts. Your son debuting for a D1 NCAA school as a star is a massive occasion, and almost any father in the world would do anything they could to appear at a game like that.
