With Kawhi Leonard and Paul George leading the way, the Clippers figure to be one of the top 3-point shooting teams in the NBA again this season. Los Angeles still hasn’t reached the NBA Finals since acquiring Leonard and George in the summer of 2019, so this season is a campaign for the Clippers.
With the 2023-24 season set to start soon, let’s take a look at the 10 best 3-point shooters on the Clippers, who are expected to start Russell Westbrook, Paul George, Kawhi Leonard, Marcus Morris, and Ivica Zubac this season.
10. Russell Westbrook

Russell Westbrook shot 35.6% from 3-point land in 21 games with the Los Angeles Clippers last season. He made 26 3s.
Westbrook began the 2022-23 season with the Los Angeles Lakers. He was traded to the Utah Jazz at the February trade deadline and waived by Utah. The UCLA product joined the Clippers as a free agent after getting waived by the Jazz and averaged 15.8 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 7.6 assists in 21 games with LAC.
The Clippers faced the Phoenix Suns in the first round of the 2023 playoffs. Kawhi Leonard only played in Games 1 and 2 and Paul George missed the entire series, so Westbrook’s usage rate went up. Westbrook averaged 23.6 points, 7.6 boards and 7.4 assists in the Suns series, but it wasn’t enough to help the Clippers win, as the Suns won the series in five games.

9. Brandon Boston Jr.

Brandon Boston Jr. only played in 22 games for the Los Angeles Clippers last season. However, he shot an efficient 41.4% from 3-point land. The 21-year-old Kentucky product made 12 3s on 29 attempts.
Boston Jr. averaged 6.5 points and 1.4 rebounds last season while shooting 41.8% from the field and 76.3% from the free-throw line. The third-year player has career averages of 6.7 points, 1.9 rebounds and 1.0 assists in 73 games with the Clippers.

8. Bones Hyland

The Los Angeles Clippers acquired Bones Hyland from the Denver Nuggets at the 2023 February trade deadline. Hyland shot 35.1% from 3 in 14 games with the Clippers. The guard made 26 shots from deep.

7. Robert Covington

Robert Covington shot 39.7% from beyond the arc last season for the Los Angeles Clippers. The veteran swingman made 54 3-pointers in 48 games while averaging 6.0 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.2 assists.
The 32-year-old Covington is a career 36.2% shooter from 3. He has made 1,224 shots from 3-point land since entering the NBA in 2013-14.
