LaMelo Ball’s girlfriend Ana Montana just turned 34 on October 9 and the Charlotte Hornets star took to Instagram to wish her a happy birthday.

“What’s understood don’t needa b said…u the one and already kno how we rockin shordy I love you and happy birthday baby blessings everywhere.”

Montana’s real name is actually Analicia Chaves and while it’s unclear just how long they’ve been dating, they made it official in June earlier this year on Instagram. LaMelo is clearly deeply in love with Montana, and this picture in front of the Eiffel Tower is from a Paris trip the two went on, during the offseason.

Despite the age difference between Ball, who is 22, and Montana, the two are going strong. They haven’t paid much attention to all the outside noise that inevitably comes when there is a significant age gap.

Who Is Ana Montana?

Montana was born on October 9, 1989, in New Bedford, Massachusetts, and graduated from Bedford High School in 2008. In 2010, she began her modeling career and signed with Louis Model Management.

Montana has taken great strides since then and is currently a brand ambassador for Fashion Nova, which has close to 22 million followers on Instagram. The fashion influencer has even been modeling clothes from LaMelo’s official clothing brand, LaFrance. She has been very supportive of his career, and it seems to be an incredibly happy relationship at this point.

LaMelo Ball Has Big Goals For The 2023-24 Season

LaMelo is one of the brightest young stars in the NBA at the moment, but the 2022-23 season didn’t go according to plan for him or the Hornets. Ball averaged impressive numbers, putting up 23.3 points, 6.4 rebounds, 8.4 assists, 1.3 steals, and 0.3 blocks, but only played 36 games due to injuries.

With their biggest star on the sidelines for much of the campaign, the Hornets, who had gone 43-39 in 2021-22, slumped to a 27-55 record. It was the second-worst record in the Eastern Conference and was just a miserable campaign all in all.

Despite some of the injury concerns surrounding him, the Hornets signed LaMelo to a huge extension worth $260 million earlier this offseason. They believe in his talent, and Ball is keen to prove they were right to do so.

LaMelo told GM Mitch Kupchak that he’s aiming to win MVP after signing the extension, and added that winning is the main thing. With Ball now healthy and the Hornets drafting Brandon Miller with the second pick of the 2023 NBA Draft, you would think they’d win quite a few more games this time around.

The Hornets are also bringing back Miles Bridges, who will suit up for them after he serves a 10-game suspension to start the campaign. It was a controversial decision, but we know by now that talented players will always get a second chance.

I can see Charlotte being in the hunt for the play-in spots this season, considering the talent on the roster. Whether they can make it through it and get to the playoffs is something I would still doubt, as that would require some of their young players to take some big strides.

His passion for the sport was ignited after witnessing the high-octane offense of the Steve Nash-led Phoenix Suns. Among the Suns, Shawn Marion stood out to Gautam as an all-time underrated NBA player. Marion’s versatility as a defender and his rebounding prowess, despite being just 6’7”, impressed Gautam immensely. He admired Marion’s finishing ability at the rim and his shooting, despite an unconventional jump shot, believing that Marion’s skill set would have been even more appreciated in today’s NBA.This transformative experience not only deepened his love for basketball but also shaped his approach to sports writing, enabling him to connect with readers through vivid storytelling and insightful analysis.
