  • Shannon Sharpe has been replaced on Undisputed by Keyshawn Johnson, Richard Sherman, and Michael Irvin
  • The new panel had one of its first debates recently and it did not go Skip Bayless’ way
  • Skip Bayless wasn’t allowed to talk at various points by his new co-hosts

Skip Bayless has at times been referred to as the Godfather of sports debate, but even he wasn’t quick enough for his new panel of partners on Undisputed.

During his first debate alongside Keyshawn Johnson, Richard Sherman, and Michael Irvin, Bayless kept getting cut off, which went viral on social media.

Skip Bayless was trying to make a point in a debate about NFL quarterbacks Dak Prescott and Trey Lance, and in a wild turn of events, couldn’t seem to get a word in over his new partners.

Skip Bayless has been known to be quite belligerent, one of the most outspoken media personalities that covers the NBA. His hate for LeBron James is the stuff of legends, but it seems like Skip might not be able to speak uninterrupted anymore.

Skip Bayless Called Out His Partners Later On In The Show

It cannot be fun to work with someone as opinionated as Skip Bayless tends to be. He is also often the loudest voice in the room and being talked over eventually got to him.

Skip Bayless said, “I don’t know how closely you watched their games, but I can— we don’t have time because you guys talk too much.”

Keyshawn Johnson retired to that in disbelief, saying, “I know you just didn’t say we talk too much.” To which Bayless then replied, “Yes, you talk too much.”

The old format that Undisputed had with Shannon Sharpe was successful as it was just him and Bayless, and Sharpe could go toe to toe with him without always talking over him.

Having four panelists may sound more entertaining on paper, but all this goes to show is that they have a lot to figure out moving forward. Skip Bayless certainly didn’t seem to be enjoying himself on the show.

Situations like these are to be expected, any new team takes time to gel together. But considering how much control Bayless has over the show, some of his new partners might not want to frustrate him too much, either.
