There’s no doubt that this championship is only the beginning for Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets. The team has a window that will be open for a few years, and it would be no surprise to see them win the championship next season. As for the Miami Heat, they clearly need to make some trades to add some offense ahead of next season.
Though this series was short, this was definitely a very good Finals from a fan perspective. Watching an elite offensive team against a group of feisty underdogs was definitely fun, and we’ll see if either team ends up making the Finals again in the future.
