Jaylen Brown was anything but happy with chief crew Scott Foster after he handed a double technical foul on him and Georges Niang.

The Boston Celtics star took a shot at Foster after Game 7, showing his unhappiness with the way the situation was handled.

“If I didn’t do anything, they probably would have played on,” said Brown, per Jay King of The Athletic. “And here comes Scott Foster.”

It’s easy to see why Jaylen didn’t like this decision. What Niang did was serious, and if the player ran faster, he would have gotten injured with that move. Georges wasn’t even on the court, so he had no business trying to get in the way of Brown.

Many think he should have gotten a more severe sanction, but Foster only gave him a tech, the same punishment Brown got for taunting the Sixers’ bench. In the end, Jaylen had the last laugh, as the Celtics destroyed the Celtics, 112-88, to send them home and perhaps finish James Harden and Doc Rivers’ tenure in Philly.

Jaylen Brown Was Very Active Calling Out People During Celtics vs. Sixers Series

Brown isn’t shy when expressing his opinions, and during this series, that was more visible than ever. He didn’t even hide his discomfort with Celtics fans that left Game 5 earlier while their team was getting demolished by the Sixers.

He also took some shots at Joel Embiid and James Harden for flopping, praising Game 6 officials for their performance. The story was different in Game 7, but at least the Celtics won that game, making it clear that they’re not done yet, and Philadelphia still has a long way to go.

Now, the Celtics will face the Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference Finals, trying to beat Jimmy Butler and co. for the second consecutive season. With an inspired Jayson Tatum and Brown ready to shut everybody down, this Celtics team appears to be in a great position to win it all.
