The Los Angeles Lakers are getting ready to host the Golden State Warriors in Game 6 of their second-round series and beat them to advance to the Western Conference Finals.

Anthony Davis was in everybody’s mouths after he was hit in the face by Kevon Looney and had to exit the game before it ended. Many things were said about this situation, but the Lakers can now feel happy about the recent updates.

According to Chris Haynes of Bleacher Report, AD will be ready to play in Game 6 unless something unexpected happens.

“Los Angeles Lakers star Anthony Davis (head injury) is expected to be available for Game 6 on Friday barring a setback, league sources tell.”

This is great news for the Lakers, who are still one game away from advancing to the Western Conference Finals. The Golden State Warriors extended this series and will try to make it a seven-game duel, but the Lakers only want to end the deal and get ready for another rival.

With Davis on the court, things are better for the Lakers. They know the big man brings a lot to the table and the Warriors haven’t had a response to that.

Los Angeles Lakers Ran More Concussion Tests On Anthony Davis

After he avoided a concussion following his incident with Kevon Looney, the Lakers decided to run more tests on him. If the player entered the protocol concussion, he wouldn’t be available for Game 6 or Game 7, according to Brian Windhorst.

The Warriors are getting ready to face the Lakers one more time and extend this series for one more game. However, the situation isn’t that promising for them. With AD returning and the Lakers playing at home, the Dubs will need to bring their A-game if they aspire to live another day.

Davis remains a threat for the Dubs, and he can be the key to losing or winning this series.
