LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers put in a special performance in Game 3 against the Golden State Warriors, taking a 2-1 series lead with a convincing win.

The night was extra special for LeBron James‘ family, as his son Bronny announced his commitment to the University of Southern California for college. And Bronny was present for the game to watch his father dominate, particularly enjoying the moment when LeBron blocked Jordan Poole.

LeBron James was quietly dominant on the night against the Warriors, scoring an efficient 21 points to go along with eight rebounds and eight assists. He was a +26 on the night, showing that every time he was on the court, he had a serious impact and helped his team win.

Bronny James was able to be present for what will surely count as a massive win for his father and his team, the Lakers would be in trouble if they had lost. The series already feels like it will be a long one, with both teams showing their quality by blowing the other out in back-to-back games. LeBron James knows what it takes to make it to the top, though, and it’s looking good for the Lakers after that game.

LeBron James Opened Up On Bronny James’ Announcement That He Will Join USC

LeBron James is still getting it done in the NBA at the highest level, but there has been a lot of attention given to what his sons might do as they try to make it to the NBA. Bronny James finished high school and, after a lot of speculation as to what he might do next, announced yesterday that he is committing to the University of Southern California.

LeBron James came to the league straight from high school, and his family doesn’t quite have a tradition when it comes to attending college, so his reaction to the news was an emotional one.

“First of all, congratulations to my son on his next journey and picking a great university in USC,” LeBron James said. “I’m really proud of him. This is an incredible thing, I was telling Mike after the game. Unless it was one of my great-grandmothers or great-grandfathers that was way before my time, to my knowledge, this is the first one out of the James Gang to go to college.”

Whenever Bronny James needs inspiration, his father is as perfect a role model as anyone can be. The fact that he is still crushing it in the NBA and two wins away from making the Western Conference Finals at his age when his son is heading to college is what makes LeBron James such an alien. No wonder his son looked so enthusiastic.
