A fan saw Klay Thompson just hanging out in his car in California traffic before he exploded in Game 2 against the Los Angeles Lakers.

The Golden State Warriors are locked in a tough battle with the Los Angeles Lakers, with the series tied at 1-1. Both sides have champions and proven NBA legends, and both sides know how important it is to win.

However, what makes a lot of these players so impressive is that they don’t let the pressure faze them. The likes of LeBron James, Stephen Curry, and Klay Thompson are used to the big moments, and Klay once again showed just how unbothered he is by all the noise around the series.

Before Game 2 against the Los Angeles Lakers, one that it was important to the Warriors not to lose, Klay Thompson was spotted by a fan. He wasn’t doing anything wild or anything related to basketball at all, Klay was just sitting in a car in California traffic waiting patiently to get wherever he wanted to go.

Some players might lock in and do several different things in the middle of the playoffs to help them win. But for Thompson, who has been to the NBA Finals six times and won 4 championships, he was just going about his day. He acknowledged the fan and gave him a nice dap too, seemingly just going with the flow. It’s insane to think that he would then go on to blow the Lakers up in Game 2.

Klay Thompson Destroyed The Lakers In Game 2

Klay Thompson caught fire like only he can during Game 2 against the Lakers. Since he came back from his major injuries, he hasn’t been at his best. His shooting percentages have dipped a little, and his performances have been inconsistent. However, he turned back the clock for this one, dropping 30 points while making eight three-pointers.

He shot better from three-point range than he did from the field in general, something only Klay Thompson can do. If he gets hot, the Warriors could wrap this series up in a hurry, which many people aren’t expecting either. But considering how chill he looked and is likely continuing to be, Klay is probably locked in in his unique way.
