Draymond Green is quite hilarious off the cuff, there is a reason he is already a prominent media member despite still actively playing in the NBA.

After the Warriors beat the Lakers in Game 2 of the Western Conference Semifinals, Green was being interviewed by the legendary Isiah Thomas. And after Isiah asked him a question, Green gave him a hilarious response.

“You know Draymond, what’s impressive about you guys’ run over the last years is that all of you have still found a way to be thirsty and hungry to win How have you managed to do that and stay insatiable about winning?” Isiah Thomas asked.

Draymond Green responded, saying, “Isiah that’s a big word and I’m not sure I know what that word means.” This led to a lot of laughs from everyone, including Thomas himself and it goes to show how calm Green himself is in the middle of such an intense series.

Draymond Green is at his best when he stays composed, the defense he played against Anthony Davis in Game 2 was nothing short of spectacular. Green was given his props by Lakers coach Darvin Ham in that regard, and it’s impressive that he can go out and stifle AD and then give a charming interview like this one right after the game.

Can The Warriors Carry This Momentum Into Game 3 And Take A Lead In The Series?

The Golden State Warriors are the definition of ‘been there, done that.’ Their recent success is all thanks to their incredible mental strength in addition to the quality they have. And if they genuinely want to gain control of this series, they need to win Game 3 in Los Angeles. They won comfortably in Game 2, which will be good for their confidence, but Klay Thompson will have to repeat his shooting heroics yet again.

The defense on Anthony Davis will also have to be stellar once more, and he is unlikely to be that passive for one more game. LeBron James also hasn’t truly exploded in this series yet, so that is something they will have to think about and plan against. Ultimately, the Warriors and Draymond Green know what it takes to get the job done, it only remains to be seen if they can do it.
