The Los Angeles Lakers are likely gearing up for their upcoming matchup against the Golden State Warriors, and there’s no doubt that this is going to be a tough series for the team. The Warriors are a high-powered offense led by transcendent superstar Stephen Curry.

Even though there is a lot at stake in this series, it seems as though the Los Angeles Lakers are unbothered, at least in practice. A recent video of the team in practice went viral, with LeBron James hilariously making a halfcourt trick shot and Anthony Davis reacting in awe.

There’s no doubt that the Los Angeles Lakers are clearly in a good headspace, despite the gravity of the series ahead of them. At some point, it is best to relax and have fun ahead of such a contest, as being confident and positive going into an important series is just as important as getting reps in.

LeBron James Opened Up On His Respect For Stephen Curry

Ahead of the upcoming second round contest against the Warriors, LeBron James shared his respect for Stephen Curry. He praised Curry for working on his craft and added that he has “set an example” for future generations.

“He puts in the work, and when you put in the work, nine times out of 10 you’re going to see results. He’s done that throughout his whole entire career. I have nothing but the utmost respect for everything he’s been able on the floor not only on the floor, but off the floor, too,” said James, per Michael Corvo of ClutchPoints. “It’s great to have people like that in this league and set an example for generations to come. We’re two of the most competitive players that have ever played this game and we want to etch our names in the history books as much as we can. … I got nothing but the greatest respect for Steph.”

There is no doubt that LeBron James appreciates other talented players, even if it is one of his rivals. Stephen Curry is definitely deserving of that respect, based on all that he has accomplished in the game. Even though he’s older, he and the Warriors shouldn’t be written off by fans, and they could easily win this series.

Hopefully, we see LeBron James and Stephen Curry both play at a high level in the second round. Any matchup between the two is iconic, and we’ll have to wait to see who comes out on top.
