Dillon Brooks had a whole lot to say after the Memphis Grizzlies beat the Los Angeles Lakers in Game 2 but he isn’t in the mood to talk now.

Following their crushing 111-101 defeat in Game 3, Brooks declined to speak to the media.

“Dillon Brooks declined an interview request. ‘I ain’t talking,’ he told me.”

NBA fans unsurprisingly roasted Brooks for refusing to talk now.

One fan hilariously stated that he didn’t want to hear from Brooks anyway.

A fan called Brooks a frontrunner and said they would respect someone like that.

A fan believes that Brooks makes himself very easy to hate with his actions.

Most hateable guy in the league frfr

A Nets fan thinks Brooks got humbled after this embarrassing outing.

Bro got humbled 😹😹😹😹😹😹

A fan thinks LeBron James broke Brooks in this game.

LMFAOOO LEBRON BROKE HIM

There wasn’t a single positive to come out of this game for Brooks. He got showered with boos during warmups and had Lakers fans chant “Brooks you suck!” in the first quarter. He went 0-4 in the quarter and played his part in the Grizzlies being down 35-9 after the first.

It somehow got worse after that, as Brooks was ejected in the third quarter after he hit LeBron James in the groin area. He exited with just 7 points to his name and had shot a woeful 3-13 from the field. In a way, not talking here might have been a smart decision as who knows what might have come out of his mouth following a disastrous showing like that one.

Dillon Brooks Shouldn’t Have Poked The Bear

It has been proven time and time again over the years, that it is never a good idea to take shots at LeBron. Brooks did it regardless with his comments after Game 2 by claiming he doesn’t respect players until they score 40 on him and while James didn’t get to 40, Brooks ended up being embarrassed nonetheless.

He’ll need to put this behind him in a hurry, as the Grizzlies will need him to play a lot better if they are to win Game 4. He wasn’t able to provide any kind of support to Ja Morant who had 45 points here and if the rest of the Grizzlies don’t step up on Tuesday, then this series is going to be all but over.
