When it comes to being a villain in the NBA, there are few who can match up to Dillon Brooks and he has been at it again during the first-round series against the Los Angeles Lakers.

Brooks took some shots at LeBron James after Game 2 and unsurprisingly, he received a hostile reception during warmups from Lakers fans before Game 3.

Brooks has really embraced this villain role. He would have known he would get a reaction like this from the crowd when he stated he doesn’t respect anyone until they score 40 on him when talking about his mid-game confrontation with James. He also claimed it is easier to guard LeBron now than when he was with the Miami Heat and the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Unfortunately for Brooks, he hasn’t been able to back up that talk with a good start in the game, as he has shot 0-4 in the first quarter. The Lakers fans are letting him know that too, chanting “Brooks you suck!”

The Grizzlies have been embarrassed here so far, as they trail 35-9 after the first quarter and it is going to take an incredible effort for them to get back in this game.

Skip Bayless Wants LeBron James To Destroy Dillon Brooks After His Comments

Skip Bayless has been one of LeBron’s most vocal critics over the years, but even he has been stunned by how Brooks has disrespected James. Bayless stated that he wants LeBron to destroy Brooks in the game and added that James can do that if he really wants to.

Stephen A. Smith also called for LeBron to go after Brooks and while he hasn’t necessarily done that so far, the Lakers as a whole have just demolished the Grizzlies here. Brooks and the rest of his teammates might want to think twice about opening their mouths the next time and poking the bear.
