LeBron James tried but failed to lead his Lakers to a comeback Game 2 win against the Grizzlies, scoring 28 points and leading the game in all scorers while being guarded by notorious pest, Dillon Brooks.
Brooks started his post-game media interviews by calling LeBron old and saying that the Miami or Cleveland version of LeBron would’ve been harder to guard than the man he’s been guarding for the last 2 games.

The versions of LeBron James in Miami and Cleveland are arguably the greatest versions of any basketball player ever. He was a 2-way beast that was almost impossible to stop (unless you’re the 2011 Dallas Mavericks). Lakers LeBron is definitely a lot more human, but he’s still one of the 10 best players in the NBA in Year 20.

Making LeBron James angry in the playoffs is not the best move given the decades of footage we have regarding James in the postseason. The all-time playoff scoring and appearance leader has more playoff miles on his body than most of the current league have even in the regular season.
James hasn’t been playing like the star of the Lakers, looking to empower his teammates into having strong performances. They needed him to step up today and he tried, being the best player on the floor in the second half. Unfortunately, it was too late for the Lakers to steal the win.
