Lifetime Los Angeles Lakers fan Snoop Dogg wasn’t happy with the team’s performance in Game 2 against the Memphis Grizzlies, especially that of Troy Brown Jr.

Taking to Instagram after the 103-93 loss, “Troy Brown, from the LA Lakers, if you don’t get your a** in the gym and start shooting them f*****g threes, and making them… You have missed every three this series cuz… Darvin Ham, you just start putting other cuz in the game… or take some of cuz time away, cause he ain’t hitting s***.”

It has been a rough season for Brown in the playoffs. Game 1 saw him play for 17 minutes and notch up three points. He went scoreless in Game 2, prompting the rapper to call him out ahead of the upcoming clash.

Snoop Dogg has a fair point, Brown has been in the Lakers’ starting lineup, but his performances have swung between average and poor this season. He averaged 7.1 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 1.3 assists in the regular season.

However, Darvin Ham has still maintained faith in his forward’s skillset, persisting with him in the starting five. It would be a good sign for Brown to bounce back to form in the upcoming game.

The Los Angeles Lakers Have Suffered Snoop Dogg’s Wrath Before

It wasn’t the first time that the Lakers bore the brunt of Snoop Dogg’s anger that was directed toward the team. Earlier, he called out big man Anthony Davis for his injury issues.

“Snoopdogg: How? When we never play together for 2 weeks healthy I’m losing faith a. D. Need to get his body tight like Lebron I’m tired of seeing him on the bench in street clothes yeah I said it what are we doing ???”

Thankfully, for the Lakers, Dogg, and the Lakers fans. Davis has played a major chunk of the games in the second half of the regular season and has suited up for both the playoff games against the Grizzlies.

The Lakers play the Grizzlies at home in the upcoming game and will hope to prop up a win to take the lead. With the team looking to make a deeper run in the playoffs, they will look to put Memphis away early.
