Kevin Durant is always ready to fire back at fans criticizing him. The Phoenix Suns superstar changed teams ahead of the 2023 trade deadline but he hasn’t changed his social media practices.

Durant recently fired back at one fan, claiming he doesn’t get the same backlash as Stephen Curry, which really sent KD.

“Saying I don’t receive slander is the NASTIEST spin of all time lmaoo why u lying like this bro?” Durant tweeted.

The Phoenix Suns superstar never hesitates to call out people, especially those who compare him or try to change how things are for him. The truth is that KD is constantly criticized and compared to other superstars, especially after he left the Golden State Warriors.

Many people think he carries big pressure to win with the Suns this season after not making it to the Eastern Conference Finals with the Brooklyn Nets. He has a big opportunity now and all his fans hope he doesn’t miss it.

The Warriors proved they can win without Durant, but the 2014 NBA MVP hasn’t won without his former team.

Kevin Durant Has Only Lost Twice Since November

Things could be great for Durant at the end of this season, as the Phoenix Suns are looking incredibly strong, especially with him on the roster. Duran has been so great that he has won only two games since November.

This should be great news for the Suns, who are looking for revenge after losing the 2021 NBA Finals against the Milwaukee Bucks. They have an incredible opportunity now with their Big 4, but the real competition starts now.

Durant has claimed he’s not too worried about his NBA legacy, but this is a big chance for him to cement it and prove doubters wrong after several years of criticism for his decisions. He sent a warning to all the coaches the Suns might face in the playoffs, showing that he’s really confident about his squad.
