ESPN’s Ramona Shelburne took to Twitter to break the news. “Brooklyn Nets forward Ben Simmons and Klutch Sports have mutually decided to part ways, sources told ESPN,” she tweeted. “Simmons had been represented by Klutch since he came into the NBA as the No. 1 pick in 2016. The agency negotiated his five-year $177 million extension in 2019.”

Jacque Vaughn Wants Ben Simmons In The Nets Fold As Soon As Possible
The Nets head coach Jacque Vaughn had Simmons’ back, saying he and the Nets were keen to have the underfire guard back in their fold as soon as possible.
The last few months have seen reports emerge that the Nets were looking to shut Simmons down for the remainder of the season, but Vaughn’s thoughts suggest that Brooklyn still believes in Simmons.
“When the back gets better and when the knee gets better then he’ll be with us. So we want that to happen as soon as possible, but we also want to take care of him and make sure that those two things are good. So if you want to say day by day, we can agree to day by day, but we’re going to take care of him and try to get him healthy. We want him back as soon as possible.”
