Stephen Curry’s pre-game warmups are quite the visual spectacle, but it went terribly wrong for the Golden State Warriors sharpshooter ahead of their clash against the Milwaukee Bucks.
Curry launched one from his own tunnel to the far side of the court, but the attempt came up short and thudded into a ball boy under the basket flush in the side of his face. You can watch the clip below:
Needless to say, the poor ball boy didn’t see it coming and looked a bit winded as people around him immediately started to check up on him. The two-time MVP’s wild shot was off target, but much to everyone’s relief, there appeared to be no harm done.
On the game front, Curry didn’t miss a beat as he delivered in the clutch to help the Warriors win 125-116 in overtime. He had 36 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists to his name.

Taking to Twitter, the veteran posted a chef emoji to suggest that Curry was indeed cooking. And the latter did just that when he scored 11 points in the fourth quarter and then followed it up by blocking Jrue Holiday’s layup to send the game hurtling to OT. He wasn’t done though as he scored nine more points in the extra period to hand Golden State the win.
The win puts the Warriors at an impressive 28-7 win record at home this season. They are now 35-33 and placed sixth in the Western Conference Standings below the LA Clippers. With less than 15 games remaining in the regular season, they will look to Curry to help them win as many games as possible to finish close to the top seed.
The Warriors play the Phoenix Suns next, followed by a clash against the Clippers. It remains to be seen if they can build up a series of wins after their impressive win against Milwaukee.
