Kendrick Perkins’ “Big List of Big 3s” did not get a nod of approval from his co-host Richard Jefferson.
The former NBA star revealed his list on Thursday’s NBA on ESPN, to which Jefferson apologized soon after on TV for having to see it and then called it “a**” on live television.
“First off, let’s just apologize to America,” Jefferson remarked. “His list is a**.”

Perkins said the best “Big 3” resides in Phoenix with Kevin Durant, Devin Booker, and Bradley Beal. That’s a good one to start with, but the rest seem quite questionable, given the raging free-agency rumors.
At second place, Perkins had Jamal Murray, Nikola Jokic, and Michael Porter Jr., and followed it up with Jrue Holiday, Giannis Antetokounmpo, and Khris Middleton at three. The fourth was adding Austin Reaves to LeBron James and Antony Davis, and he ended with Andrew Wiggins, Stephen Curry, and Draymond Green in the fifth place.
Clearly, some of these stars may not be playing together by the end of free agency since that’s just how crazy the NBA world is. And Jefferson wasn’t having it.
This Wasn’t The First Time Richard Jefferson Roasted Kendrick Perkins
Safe to say, this incident wasn’t the first time Richard Jefferson roasted Kendrick Perkins. Earlier, he called out the former NBA champion for his 2008 Boston Celtics team about the locker room tensions between Ray Allen and Rajon Rondo.
“I’m positive there was no tension in that Celtic locker room during your championship runs.” RJ said, to which Perkins responded with a “There wasn’t.”
“Tell that to Rondo and Ray,” RJ added, and when Perkins replied that it was after the 2008 championship win, the former had an ultimate one-liner, albeit nasty, ready: “Oh ok, so that’s why you guys never won again.”
It was quite the stunner, and while Perkins looked very frustrated, he did dismiss it with a laugh soon after. And that will surely not be the last time anyone sees RJ vs. Perk banter on TV.
