NBA Analyst Has Hilarious Suggestion For Kevin Durant: “He Needs To Get Married”

Kevin Durant's problems can all be solved if he gets married, according to notable NBA analyst Ric Bucher.

Kevin Durant is one of the few veterans in the NBA that is completely unattached, choosing to live a single life while his contemporaries are settling down with families.

NBA analyst Ric Bucher believes KD needs to also experience married life, so he can prioritize what’s important by discussing it with a significant other.

“Kevin Durant needs to get married. Kevin Durant needs a relationship that teaches him what you have to respond to and what you just let go of. And that, for me, is what marriage taught me – what’s really important… When you get married or you have a significant other, and when they know you and they talk to you about issues that may exist, I listen to that. I’m able to differentiate that from all the other noise that you might get because everybody’s got something to say. If you have any sort of notoriety, any sort of presence, everybody wants to tell you how to do your business.”

This is a hilarious take by Bucher because we never see analysts suggest tweaks to an athlete’s personal life to boost their on-court performance.

Marriage is important, and it may benefit Durant, but suggesting something like this out of the blue has to be a little odd. Let’s see if KD actually follows the advice, though the likelihood of that is slim to none.

Kevin Durant Blocking Out The Noise To Focus On His New Team

Kevin Durant often gets caught up in what the media says and feels about him. He got a little sensitive about how he won’t get credit for winning a title unless he won it with the likes of Scoot Henderson coming into the NBA next season. He needs to ignore the narratives the media spins about him and just focus on hooping.

Durant had a 23-point debut for the Suns and will face the Chicago Bulls tomorrow. He has to be locked in for Sunday, as the Suns face their bitter rivals in the Dallas Mavericks, which will be the first game between Durant and former teammate Kyrie Irving. A lot to play for on the court, so anything that happens in the media shouldn’t bother Durant as long as he can keep winning.
