Whether he’s suiting up or not, it’s tough to keep LeBron James out of the game. One such instance was when he sat oblivious to an excited young fan who was hyped to see her favorite athlete next to her.

James has always been obliging to his fans, and his interaction with the fan whose reaction went viral when she saw ‘The King’ sitting next to her was one of those times when he made his fandom’s day.

The fun part of all of this was when he sat with his shades on and looked away from the camera when ESPN reporter Lisa Salter was interviewing the fan. The fans were left in splits when they James’ stoic expression throughout the interview.

This seems scripted, he’s literally sitting right there during the interview

Why he trynna act like he can’t hear her

He acting like he don’t hear nothing

Him sitting there unfazed throughout the entire interview going on next to him is taking me out

Hope he makes time for her, or he ain’t the greatest

This is why Lebron can’t go to Starbucks or Target

This is adorable and it sounds like she knows more about what’s going on in the NBA than most of the people in this comment section.

The fact that Bron is sitting right next to her during the interview acting like he hears nothing

Y’all heard the girl.. “Greatest player of all time”

And one comment from former Laker, Quinn Cook who liked the whole incident:

“This is amazing ❤️❤️❤️”

To be fair, James may have paid some attention as he even posted a story on his Instagram account saying:

“This is why I love what I do”

The icing on the cake for the fan and for the Lakers was their win against the Golden State Warriors. The new-look unit pipped the Stephen Curry-less side 109-103.

LeBron James Injury Update: The Veteran Has Not Played Since He Broke The All-Time Scoring Record

While the Lakers got back to winning ways after losing three games on the trot, one of which included LeBron James surpassing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar as the leading scorer in the NBA, the 38-year-old has not played two consecutive games causing some concern.

James has been playing through ankle issues throughout the season, and with the Lakers entering the final stretch of the regular season, his presence to shepherd the new Lakers unit becomes all the more crucial.

Per Bleacher Report’s Chris Haynes, the forward has been “severely struggling” with a foot injury.

James missing a few more games shouldn’t come as a surprise, but the Lakers’ window of opportunity to make the playoffs is closing fast. They’re yet to hit the .500 mark and make the play-in.

The Lakers face the Portland Trail Blazers next, followed by the New Orleans Pelicans. Only time will tell if James will suit up for either of these clashes.
