At the start of the 2022-23 NBA season, the Brooklyn Nets had a Big 3 in Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, and Ben Simmons. The trio was expected to not only lead the team to a great regular season but continue that form well into the postseason.

While Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving did just that, Ben Simmons failed to play at the level at which the Nets expected him to play. Despite that, the Nets had one of the best records in the Eastern Conference.

Unfortunately, things have fallen apart for the Brooklyn Nets over the last few days. First, Kyrie Irving requested a trade and was sent to the Dallas Mavericks. And now, in shocking news, Kevin Durant was traded to the Phoenix Suns. This leaves the Nets with just Ben Simmons as their primary star.

Ben Simmons Will Be Traded To China Per NBA Fans

This season, Ben Simmons is averaging just 7.2 PPG, 6.4 RPG, and 6.4 APG. These numbers are certainly not good for someone who is expected to lead the team. Keeping that in mind, the Nets apparently tried to find a trade for Simmons but failed.

It was earlier reported that Simmons is currently drawing zero interest from other NBA teams. With that being said, many fans on Twitter roasted Simmons about potentially getting traded to a team in China.

Just a couple of seasons ago, Ben Simmons was considered one of the best young talents in the NBA. But in the last two years or so, Simmons has lost the respect of almost everyone out there.

Now, many believe that he is not good enough to even play for an NBA team, let alone help them win an NBA Championship. Hopefully, Simmons find a way back to his form; otherwise, he may genuinely end up playing in China in a couple of seasons.
