LeBron James’ postgame press conference following their 112-98 loss to the Miami Heat had fans lambasting the Lakers’ front office for not putting in the right pieces to complement their veteran superstar.

James has been in scintillating form averaging 27.8 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 6.6 assists this season. His last five games see him average 31.6 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 7.0 assists, but the result has just been one win in the five contests.

This led to the Lakers fans taking shots at the think-tank. The team has won just two of their last seven games after Anthony Davis was ruled out indefinitely following the stress fracture he sustained against the Denver Nuggets.

Upset Los Angeles Lakers Fans Take Shots At The Front Office

While the Lakers were initially looked at as the team that would make the most blockbuster move before the trade deadline, recent reports suggest that the franchise might continue with the same roster, further upsetting fans who hoped a trade or two could do more than just salvage a slipping season.

Earlier, the team was linked to the Hield and Turner, but that deal reportedly is now off the books after team owner Jeanie Buss was reluctant to sign off on the Russell Westbrook trade.

They were also reportedly in talks with the Chicago Bulls to acquire DeMar DeRozan, and most recently, Zach LaVine generated the buzz with rumors of him forcing his way to LA. But nothing has been concrete yet.

One of the fans showed the numbers the Indiana Pacers duo of Buddy Hield, and Myles Turner notched up in their recent outing and called out the front office for their costly error that’s hurting the Lakers this season.

39 points, 15 rebs, 6 asts, 6 blks, 7/10 on 3s…maybe Lebron realized Lakers care more about draft picks then giving his team the right pieces to win…

Wasting absolutely certain LBJ for the future doubtful LBJ. What a shame.

Buddy averages 9 three-point shot attempts a game…..and he still shoots 42% from deep. Myles is averaging 17ppg 8 Reb and 2 blocks while shooting 40% from 3 on 4 attempts. They could’ve easily made that trade and Fournier and Reddish trade and been miles better than they are

People forget how much they suffocated other teams with their size and length. Plus, Caruso and Bradley are very good defenders as well. So sick how they just threw that roster away.

If Pelinka would have traded at the beginning of the season the Lakers would be at least 5 games over 500 even with AD missing time.

Who are the Lakers getting with that $30M in cap space that’s better than these two?

The front office made their bed, they put themselves in this position by being frugal, letting assets go such as Caruso etc.

If they make that trade today, the team would be back to 500 or better by the time AD returns (and he wouldn’t have to rush back, either)

Pacers probably is relieved that the trade didnt happen. They play super well together and adding Westbrook when they have god-tier Haliburton would just be the dumbest move ever.

I don’t even think that’s on the table anymore. Pacers are a playoff team.

The Lakers and Pacers have had contrasting runs this season. While the Purple and Gold are 14-21 and placed 13th in the West, Indiana improved to 19-17 after their win against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Only time will tell if the Lakers will get the right players to beef up their average roster. They face the Atlanta Hawks next.
