It is great to know that he is making good progress, but the fact that he will be re-evaluated after two weeks means a return is likely at some point in mid-January at the earliest. That isn’t ideal, considering how the team is struggling at the moment, but the Warriors are probably being extremely cautious here. They believe this team is capable of going on a run once Steph comes back, and we saw last season that they don’t particularly care a whole lot about being the top seed for the playoffs.
Draymond Green Spoke On The Warriors Potentially Being A Play-In Team
With Stephen Curry being out of action and the Warriors having a 15-18 record, there is a real possibility that they might end up in the play-in positions at the end of the season. Draymond Green was asked about the same and said he would feel sorry for the no. 1 and no. 2 seed if the Warriors are in a play-in situation.
