Lamar Jackson is one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL, capable of running the ball at a high level and throwing accurately as well. He has won a unanimous MVP award during the 2019 NFL season and has already led the Baltimore Ravens to a win over the Jets this season.

Despite his talent and ability, the Baltimore Ravens did not extend Lamar Jackson ahead of the 2022 NFL season. It seems as though the quarterback is doing everything to prove them wrong.

Kevin Durant Was In Awe Of Lamar Jackson During Ravens – Dolphins Game

Though the Baltimore Ravens lost their recent game against the Dolphins 42-38, that was not through any fault of Lamar Jackson’s. He scored 3 passing touchdowns and one rushing touchdown, but it is clear that his valiant effort was not enough to get the Ravens over the hump.

During the game, NBA superstar Kevin Durant praised Lamar Jackson, claiming the quarterback has “gone to another level”. Lamar Jackson is likely motivated to play at the highest level possible and earn a multi-year contract extension that gets him a large amount of guaranteed money. Perhaps we’ll even see him win another MVP award.

#8 has gone to another level. That’s 4 TDs and countin.

There is no doubt that Kevin Durant is an avid fan of football, and he has frequently commented on the NFL in the past. Durant has notably suggested that he could have played in the NFL, noting that he would have been able to be “a wideout at least”.

I could play football. I could be a wideout at least.

There’s wideouts that’s 6 feet, 170 pounds… all go routes.

Though Kevin Durant did not end up going into football, it is clear that he made the right choice by going into basketball. He is one of the best superstars in the league today, and his scoring ability is feared by opponents across the league.

This summer, there was a lot of speculation about Kevin Durant leaving the Brooklyn Nets due to him requesting a trade from the franchise. However, he ended up staying with the franchise, and that could end up being a wise decision for Durant. He will be flanked by stars Kyrie Irving and Ben Simmons on the Nets, and they will likely be a contending roster.

Hopefully, we see Kevin Durant have a productive season with the Brooklyn Nets, and it is quite possible that he will have an MVP-level year. The Brooklyn Nets have given Durant the tools to succeed next season, and we’ll see how far the superstar manages to take them.
