They were playing together at the Crawsover Pro-Am league, and some kids attending the event “lost their mind” when LeBron James got to the court. Obviously, it is clear that Jayson Tatum didn’t garner the same reaction despite his own popularity.
“I think I’m a big deal. But when LeBron walked out there… the kids lost their mind when he walked out the court. That was a cool moment to be there and see that.”
Obviously, LeBron James’ family has also gotten media attention due to James’ own popularity. His sons Bryce and Bronny are notably expected to be drafted into the NBA in the future.
LeBron James And His Family Had A Photoshoot With Vanity Fair
LeBron James and his family have recently had a photo shoot with Vanity Fair, with his sons and wife present. The family was photographed in a variety of settings, including the pool and the dinner table.
A lot of NBA fans reacted to the photos, which were posted on Instagram page Complex. Many fans noted that Bryce James looks a lot like LeBron James in those photos. Others also gushed over Savannah James for her stellar look in those photos.
There is no doubt that LeBron James’ family is important to him, and he is well-known as a family man. He is an amazing father and has frequently been spotted playing basketball with Bryce and Bronny during his spare time.
LeBron James has expressed a desire to play with Bronny James in the future prior to his retirement. He has even stated that he keeps an eye on which teams have first-round picks in future years so he can potentially play with both of his sons in the NBA.
“We don’t even really talk about the future too much,” James said. “I put it in the air because I like to talk to the basketball gods out there and see if things can come to fruition. I’ve always set out goals in my career, talked to the basketball gods, and they’ve listened to all of them. Hopefully, they can listen to this last one, too.
“I’d definitely be looking at who got first-round picks in 2024, 2025, things of that nature; 2026, ’27,” LeBron James said. “I pay attention to that type of stuff.”
Hopefully, we see LeBron James manage to play with both of his sons in the future. That would be an amazing finish to his NBA career, basically a storybook ending to his journey.
As of right now, though, LeBron James is likely focused on having a strong season with the Los Angeles Lakers next year. They have massively revamped their roster this offseason to become more defense-oriented, and perhaps that will be enough to help LeBron James bring them back to the playoffs.
