Jayson Tatum Is Joining LeBron James In Making His CrawsOver Pro-Am League Debut On Saturday

The CrawsOver Pro-Am League is promising to be the most star-studded of them all with the way things are going. It was announced previously that LeBron James would be making his debut in the league on Saturday, and he was to be joined by the likes of Paolo Banchero, Chet Holmgren, Dejounte Murray, Isaiah Thomas, and MarJon Beauchamp.

As if the presence of all these guys wasn’t enough, Jamal Crawford announced that Celtics star Jayson Tatum would also be making his debut on Saturday!

🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨 Bron said Mal, you know we gotta keep the party going, let’s get someone that’s never been to Seattle but they NEED to see!! Y’all also making his @thecrawsover debut, the unstoppable superstar, @jaytatum0 will be playing on Saturday !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! pic.twitter.com/S6cQI5DioU

It seems like LeBron played a big part here in getting Tatum on board, and what was set to be an amazing day of basketball just got even better, if that was even possible. As LeBron seems to have said, they wanted to get in someone who hasn’t played in Seattle, and it should be a great experience for Tatum.

The city has been without a team since 2008, when the Sonics relocated to Oklahoma and became the Thunder, so Tatum has never experienced what it is like to play a game there with that passionate fanbase. They have been desperate to get a team back in the city, and while that could happen in the coming years, for now, they will have to be content with this consolation prize, although it isn’t an underwhelming one by any means.

It will be interesting to see who ends up teaming up in these games, as there is just so much talent on display. It would be great if we could see LeBron and Tatum go up against the rookies like Banchero and Holmgren, who have already teamed up here. Regardless, no matter what combination they end up going with, we are surely in for a treat in what has suddenly turned into a must-watch tournament for every basketball fan!
