Video: Charles Barkley Gets Mad At Refs After Getting Fouled, Then Trolls Lakers Fans At The Line

3 Min Read

Charles Barkley is a legend for the Phoenix Suns and the Philadelphia 76ers, and he was well-known for his ability near the rim and his dominance as an offensive force. While he never won a championship during his career, that wasn’t necessarily his fault, as Barkley played during the same era as Michael Jordan.

An NBA fan recently posted a video of Charles Barkley that went viral. It featured Barkley getting fouled with no calls from the refs during his time with the Houston Rockets. He then proceeded to get mad at the referees and eventually trolled Los Angeles Lakers fans when he finally did get a call.

These days, Charles Barkley is known for his appearances on television, notably being part of the “Inside The NBA” crew on TNT. Due to his funny demeanor on television, many people forget just how good he was as a player. Shaquille O’Neal once praised Barkley for playing above his size, claiming that he was going to “go through you”, and that “nothing could stop” him.

Charles Barkley. The Round Mound of Rebound…You always hear the term ‘Size doesn’t matter.’ For Charles Barkley, size did not matter. As a center are always 6’10, 6’11 or 7 foot. Power forwards are 6’8, 6’9 or 6’10. Not Charles Barkley. Charles Barkley was a solid 6’4. He didn’t care if you were taller or you were bigger or if you were faster or if you were stronger. He was gonna go through you and nothing could stop this man. A guy that played with that tenacity, with that speed and with that force plus the mentality he had of not caring, you could tell that he was going to be hard to stop.

Hopefully, we see Charles Barkley get his respect in the future. He is very underrated by people when it comes to ranking the greatest players of all time, and those lists don’t do his talent any justice.

With that being said, it is clear that Charles Barkley will forever be remembered as one of the best power forwards ever. He accomplished a lot during his career, and perhaps someday, we’ll see more appreciation for Charles Barkley.
