Nowadays, Kyrie Irving is better known for his off-court shenanigans than his performance on the court. In fact, over the last three seasons that Kyrie has been part of the Brooklyn Nets, he has been in the news for various wrong reasons.

Be it him sitting out games due to his vaccination status or simply being injured during important games. Kyrie has had a huge target on his back. Moreover, he might get traded this season if the Nets fulfill Kevin Durant’s trade request. KD is currently linked for a move to the Boston Celtics.

Speaking of the Celtics, Kyrie played for the iconic NBA franchise for two seasons of his career. He did so after forcing a trade out of the Cleveland Cavaliers to get a team of his own. Overall, his time with the Celtics was not as successful as he would have wanted it to be, but he still showed signs of excellence here and there.

One such occasion was back in 2017 when he faced John Wall and the Washington Wizards. During the game, Kyrie initiated trash talk with Wall. Upon hearing that, Wall later sarcastically clapped back at the All-Star point guard.

Kyrie: You missed your highlight.

Wall: I still can’t get no Kyrie’s?

Wall was hilariously referencing to getting a signature shoe from Irving. Kai might have even given him those shoes if the final result of the game was different.

Wall led the Wizards to a comfortable 111-103 victory over the Celtics. Fast forward to 2022, if Kyrie gets traded to the Los Angeles Lakers, fans will see more of these battles between the two superstar point guards because Wall is now part of the Los Angeles Clippers.
