Shaquille O’Neal Shares An Instagram Story Saying Dwight Howard Should Have Been In The Top 75 Over Anthony Davis And Damian Lillard

Shaquille O’Neal’s beef with Dwight Howard is well documented. There’s no love between these two, and they make sure to confirm that (mostly Shaq) whenever they have the chance. The Big Diesel never liked the fact that Howard was called ‘Superman’, as he believed he was the only one in the league.

Well, after people around the league gave that nickname to D-12, things went south between him and Shaq. The 4x NBA champion then started a campaign against Howard, attacking him whenever he had the chance, trying to bring him down at any cost. Even after many years, Shaq keeps taking shots at Howard, but his recent activity on social media might have hinted that he’s changing his mind about Dwight.

A couple of months after the controversial NBA’s Top 75 of all time was revealed, many people still can’t believe that Howard wasn’t part of it. Other NBA champions like Klay Thompson and Kyrie Irving were snubbed, too, but seeing how great Prime Dwight was, it’s crazy that he didn’t make the cut.

Well, Shaq apparently agrees with that, as he shared a video on his Instagram stories questioning how Anthony Davis and Damian Lillard were included on the list over Howard.

Even though they don’t have the best relationship, it seems like Shaq respected Howard’s game, at least during his best years. The veteran center has adapted to new roles recently, coming off the bench and helping teams with his veteran presence. He won his first and only championship in 2020 with the Los Angeles Lakers, achieving what he couldn’t with Kobe Bryant and Steve Nash in 2012/13.

It’s still bonkers that Dwight was snubbed from this list, seeing how great he was during his best times with the Orlando Magic.
