Draymond Green Makes Shocking Revelation That He Took Seizure Medication Until The Age Of 28

Draymond Green has overcome a lot of obstacles to get to where he is today. The 4-time NBA Champion has been an underdog for most of his career, working his way into the iconic Michigan State Spartans team and then making it to the NBA as a second-round pick for the Golden State Warriors.

His play style isn’t flashy in the slightest, and his on-court contribution has already regressed into making people discuss whether the Warriors would be better off without him. For Green, it is yet another thing he needs to overcome to prove to everyone why he is in the position he is today.

Personal experience razes players into becoming tough players because nothing on the court will ever compare to the challenges of real life. For Green, his challenge has been dealing with seizures up until the age of 28 and then watching his young daughter suffer the same.

Draymond Green says he took seizure medication until he was 28 years old. Also said he once had a seizure when he was young that lasted over an hour.

Draymond disclosed he missed the first few days of 2021-22 training camp due to his daughter having seizures.

Scary stuff 🙏

Not a lot is known about what exactly Draymond suffered from to have had impacted his quality of life till the age of 28, but it is extremely scary to know that he was winning championships while popping medications to keep him from having seizures. The Warriors did a great job of ensuring this does not come out to the press during that time, as it would lead to undue pressure on Draymond for something that would open him up to unnecessary speculation.

We wish Draymond all the best in trying to tackle a similar problem with his daughter’s health. A career of overcoming obstacles has made Draymond a very rich man, so he can pull out all the stops to take care of his daughter in a way he probably couldn’t take care of himself before entering the NBA.

Draymond was on seizure medication till 2018, so he must be doing better to have not taken the same since he was 28 years old.
