Shaquille O’Neal is a man of many talents. The four-time NBA champion made history in the association, but he didn’t stop there. Shaq would become many things during his life, including a police officer, an analyst, and a DJ, among other professions. To nobody’s surprise, he has exceeded in each one of his jobs, demonstrating that he can do almost everything he wants.
He has revealed many fun stories over the years and recently shocked people when he described how he sleeps with women, even with his size. In a fun interview, the Big Diesel answered one of the biggest questions fans have about him.
If that wasn’t enough, he also revealed his favorite smell, which not everybody enjoys. During a May interview with Stephen Colbert, O’Neal named farts his favorite smell, which was quite a surprise for the interviewer. That wasn’t the end of the situation, though, as Shaq would admit that he’d know what people ate by smelling their farts.
As usual, he used Charles Barkley to explain this, saying that often, when Chuck lets one out, Shaq can identify what he ate by the smell of it (4:22).
Colbert: “Can we go back to farts for a second? Favorite smell, you mean your farts or somebody else’s?”
O’Neal: “Either or. Like, when Barkley farts, I’ll be like, ‘oh, you had the Waffle House this morning, huh?'”
Colbert: “So you’re a connoisseur. You’re like the guy who can name the slopes the grapes are grown on.”
Shaq agreed with Colbert and then cracked up with the joke. Even though some people might think that’s nasty, it doesn’t seem like a problem for O’Neal. His nose is free to smell whatever he wants and it looks like farts have good flavors for him. Just like this, there are many things we don’t know about Shaq and whenever we learn about them, they blow our minds.
