Draymond Green is a player that is well known for his defense and playmaking. He is a crucial part of the Golden State Warriors system, and he will likely be a Hall of Famer in the future. However, one of his biggest weaknesses is his scoring, and there’s no doubt that this has been on display in the NBA Finals.

A recent statistic revealed by the Twitter basketball page Hoop Central shows that Draymond Green has more total fouls in the NBA Finals than total points. There is no doubt that this is a disappointing fact for the Warriors and their fans, but there’s still time for him to bounce back.

Obviously, fouls are inevitable when one is trying hard on defense. That is part of the game. However, it is clear that Draymond Green has been fouling excessively this series, and he has already fouled out in two games. Hopefully, he can reduce the number of personal fouls he gets, and stay on the court to help the Golden State Warriors defensively.

Even Draymond Green’s mother was shocked at his poor level of play in this Finals series. Draymond Green pointed out that it’s not the toughest thing he’s had to face in his career, but admitted that it “definitely has” been a tough series for him.

Please ppl stop asking me what’s wrong with Dray… I DONT KNOW! Maybe this is a CLONE! Lmbo WHERE IS THE Draymond that helped get us here!! Hmmmm I have never seen this either!

“I saw my mom tweeted that it’s been a tough series for me. Absolutely, it definitely has. But, figure it out how you gotta figure it out. It’s not the toughest thing I’ve had to deal with in my life thus far.”

Hopefully, we see Draymond Green return to form and be that physical force that the Golden State Warriors need him to be. There’s no doubt that he’s extremely impactful when he’s on, and we’ll see if he can find his groove again.

The Golden State Warriors have a good chance of winning Game 5 at home, and we’ll see if they are able to take the lead in the series. Draymond Green is crucial to that happening, and the Warriors will hope for a monster defensive game from him.
