Stephen Curry is about to play in his 6th NBA Finals after easily beating Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks in the Western Conference finals. The Golden State Warriors confirmed that they are back and their dynasty never ended, and now they’ll try to add another championship to their cabinets.

Curry could become a 4-time NBA champion if he beats the Boston Celtics in the upcoming series. This possibility has created some debates around the NBA community, with people arguing if a fourth ring would make Stephen Curry a top-10 player of all time.

For FS1’s Nick Wright, he couldn’t make it to the top 10 but would be the best player of his generation, only behind LeBron James. Moreover, Curry would surpass Kevin Durant on Wright’s list:

"If the Warriors win, it moves Steph to a clear No. 2 player of his generation. It moves him past KD and, at least for the time being, past Giannis. … If Steph wins another title is he Top 10 all time? Probably not, but he's banging on the door." — @getnickwright pic.twitter.com/5jo5JguiHy

“If the Warriors win, it moves Steph to a clear No. 2 player of his generation. It moves him past KD and, at least for the time being, past Giannis. … If Steph wins another title is he Top 10 all time? Probably not, but he’s banging on the door.”

Steph is really close to making history, and a new title would put him in a privileged position. The Warriors have a hard challenge ahead of them in the Celtics, who are inspired after taking out the Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference Finals.

The Warriors dynasty isn’t done and Steph is ready to keep adding championships to his impressive resume. This series will present a big opportunity, as the Celtics are an inexperienced team in comparison to Golden State. The Chef will try to cook again and take his squad to the promised land after three years.

Besides being the greatest shooter of all time, Steph is also a top-15 player ever right now. Perhaps another title and the elusive Finals MVP could make him break through the top 10 of all time.
