Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors have looked comfortable against the Dallas Mavericks during these Western Conference Finals

The experience and championship pedigree of the Warriors has been on full display during their series against this talented, but inexperienced Dallas Mavericks team. One gesture from Stephen Curry after Game 2 did leave one of the Mavericks players quite annoyed.

After the Warriors won Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals, Stephen Curry made a ‘night night’ gesture, referencing the Warriors putting an end to the game and getting the win. Mavericks star Dorian Finney-Smith was visibly annoyed about the situation.

But ahead of Game 3, a more composed Finney-Smith spoke about the gesture and his reaction. Dorian Finney-Smith noted that Stephen Curry’s gesture did get under his skin at the moment.

But eventually, he understood that Curry’s gesture is part of this game. He added by showing respect for Stephen Curry watching his clutch shot go in rather than turn around.

Dorian Finney-Smith on Steph Curry’s ‘Night Night’ signature move: “In the heat of the moment I was mad but it’s part of the game. He’s Steph though, at least he had to watch it go in. He didn’t turn around… shit.” 😂 pic.twitter.com/nmm62nOIRs

“Taking notes. I gotta use that. For real though, In the heat of the moment I was mad but it’s part of the game. He’s Steph though, at least he had to watch it go in. He didn’t turn around… sh*t.”

Curry and the Warriors picked up yet another win over the Dallas Mavericks in Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals. The Warriors are now 1 game away from returning to the NBA Finals for the first time since 2019.

Klay Thompson spoke after Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals, noting that the Warriors are the favorites to go the distance and win the NBA championship because of the championship experience they have had over the last few years.

Given the way the Warriors have been playing during this playoff run, there is no reason to believe they won’t go on to win the NBA championship next month.
