The Los Angeles Clippers superstar Kawhi Leonard is unarguably one of the best players in his position in the league. It is evident from the fact that when it was revealed that Leonard will not play this season, Clippers fans were heartbroken.

After all, losing a 2x NBA MVP, Finals MVP, and DPOY player is no small blow to a team. Looking at the Klaw’s resume, one might easily think that he belongs in an elite category on the NBA All-Time list, right? Wrong. Usually, when fans or even sports pundits rank Leonard on such lists, he is usually not that high.

A particular NBA fan also pondered it, and he came to the conclusion that Leonard is the most difficult NBA player to rank on the All-Time list. His tweet was featured on the popular Instagram page, Hoopsview.

“Kawhi Leonard is for sure the most difficult player to rank all-time. He has the DPOY’s, he has the rings and Finals MVP’s, he has the insane playoff numbers, but he has fewer points than Danilo Gallinari and Andrew Wiggins.”

Like Jake pointed out, it is truly hard to rank Kawhi on the All-Time list. Upon seeing this post, other NBA fans joined in to give their take on Leonard’s All-Time rank.

garret.turner56: “His durability really holds him back.”

dan.corsey_: “So weird, he’s never scored more than 45 in a game.”

johnkk1357: “He’s def around the 20-30 range in my opinion what y’all think?”

1low_vw_: “Not even top 10. maybe 20 if we’re being nice.”

marks_man56: “Doesnt even matter that he has fewer points, He’s a very efficient high volume scorer, total points dont mean shit. He was a defensive specialist for a few years. Not many people can drop 30 ppg on 60/50/90 shooting in the playoffs like Kawhi.”

danielphilo: “Sorry dude, not enough playing time to qualify as an all-time great.”

bellesema_mirer: “He knows when to play hard… he smart af lol… he don’t play for numbers..”

deanadomaitis: “Career points have zero value when comparing greatness of players.”

johngernhardt5: “He deserved his top 75 player of all time vote but I tend not to overrate him. The only season he was the sole leader of his team and deserved finals mvp was in Toronto. The rest of his career was a finals mvp just for guarding lebron and after that was a great defensive career that’s been filled with load management and injuries sadly but still great player.”

jack.garabed04: “Kawhi in my opinion he’s a top 3 player of all time man and I’m so proud of him man I believe he will win a with the LA Clippers man.”

Most fans believe that Kawhi definitely deserves a top 20 place in the All-Time list. After all, he is one of the best players of our generation.

Moreover, while injuries have been a constant hindrance in his career, he turns his game up a notch come playoff time. This is definitely the reason why Leonard’s numbers in the playoffs are quite amazing.

Hopefully, he will be back in time for the postseason this season and can lead the Clippers to their first-ever NBA Championship.
