Klay Thompson And Draymond Green Confident The Warriors Can Win The Championship This Season: “Whether We’re The No. 2 Seed Or No. 3 Seed, We’re Going To Win A Championship”

The Golden State Warriors recovered their original Big 3 on Monday night when Stephen Curry, Draymond Green, and Klay Thompson played together for the first time in over 1000 days. It was the perfect occasion, as Curry turned 34 and went off with 47 points, draining 7 triples on the 126-112 win over the Washington Wizards.

The 2x NBA MVP was on fire, demonstrating he’s not done and is ready to torch rivals any given day. Following the match, Green and Thompson showed their excitement for being part of this squad, while predicting how the season can end for the Dubs if they keep this pace.

Klay, who scored 38 points in the prior game, stated that he, Curry, and Green know very well what it takes to win a championship and can do it this campaign.

“I have confidence in this team to win a ring. Us three know what it takes, so do the other guys on the roster. The young guys are eager to learn what it takes and when we all have the same goal in mind, amazing things can happen,” Thompson told reporters.

Draymond Green, who return from injury against the Wizards, also made a big prediction for his team. The big man claimed that regardless of their seeding entering the postseason, the Warriors will win it all next June.

“Obviously, the 2 seed would be great, but we’re not chasing it. We’re gonna make sure we do everything we can to stay healthy coming down the stretch. Whether we’re the No. 2 seed or No. 3 seed, we’re going to win a championship, so don’t really matter… I called it months ago.”

The Warriors look very confident in their chances to win the championship this campaign. They started the season dominating the competition, but the Phoenix Suns caught up to them. They’re still a top 3 team, but the Memphis Grizzlies have shocked the world, too.

Now that they have their Big 3 ready to go and James Wiseman could return this season, the Dubs start looking more dangerous. Perhaps other teams are getting more attention right now, but don’t sleep on the squad that made it to five straight NBA Finals and has their star trio hungry for revenge.
