Kawhi Leonard is one of the best players in the NBA when healthy. The Los Angeles Clippers superstar has led two franchises to win championships, ending two dynasties in the process. The Klaw is now trying to lead the Clips to the promised land and emulate what he did in San Antonio and Toronto.

He has teamed up with Paul George in Los Angeles, but things haven’t gone in their favor so far. The Clippers have failed to make it to the Finals in 2020 and 2021, and it’s highly likely they’ll miss it this year, too.

This duo has had a great relationship over the years, but they also had some interesting moments on the court. One of the most memorable happened when Kawhi was part of the Raptors and George played for the Oklahoma City Thunder. They clashed on the court, and Leonard let George know he wasn’t a problem for him.

Recently, NBA Memes recalled the time when Kawhi was unbothered by George’s defense and disrespected PG13’s attempts to stop him. The Klaw scored on George with a beautiful fadeaway after dismissing his defense.

This is still one of the most disrespectful pics from Kawhi 😭 pic.twitter.com/oOwoO0VEd6

NBA fans reacted to this old but great play, remembering how things got interesting when these two met on the court. Some trolled George, others went against Kawhi and most people pointed out that they became teammates after that.

Leonard and George hope to disrespect and score so easily on their rivals now. The two players are sidelined for the Clippers and nobody knows when they will return to action. The Clips hope they can bounce back like the Golden State Warriors this season, led by their two stars. They were close to reaching the NBA Finals last season, but Kawhi’s knee injury hurt their chances.

If their dynamic duo comes back healthy and ready to go, this team will have a big chance at the championship next year. The Clippers are patiently waiting for them, hoping that their patience pays off.
