The All-Star game has officially come to a close, and it was a very close game, with the final score being 163-160 in favor of Team LeBron. There is no doubt that this was an amazing show, especially because the game really got competitive at times.

Team LeBron is now 5-0 in All-Star games, but it wasn’t LeBron James that stole the show tonight. The All-Star MVP award was given to Stephen Curry who had 50 points and hit a record 16 3PT shots in the All-Star game.

2022 Kobe Bryant All-Star Game MVP Award: Stephen Curry. 50 points, new record 16 three-pointers.

Hitting 16 3PT shots in a game is amazing, even if it is in an All-Star game. Stephen Curry is well-known for his ability to explode offensively, and there’s no question that he had one of those moments tonight. It is the first All-Star MVP award of his career, and it must be special to get that achievement on a night where the NBA honored the 75 greatest players of all time.

Hopefully, this sort of play continues for Stephen Curry when he suits up for the Golden State Warriors once again. Stephen Curry was viewed as an early MVP candidate, but that talk has quieted down after he went through a mid-season shooting slump. Perhaps we’ll see him get back to MVP form later on, and there’s still time for him to make a late push for the regular-season MVP award.
