Seeing NBA players dunk the ball is without a doubt one of the most satisfying things to see for fans. While most NBA players can perform basic dunks, to perform the high-quality ones, takes real skill.

Over the years, there have been many amazing players that have shown their talent to throw the ball down. But even among them, some stand a notch above the rest. One such player is without a doubt NBA legend Michael Jordan.

During his playing career, Mike had a lot of amazing skills in his bag. But when he was a young player, he had a sensational ability to dunk the ball with ease. It is evident by the fact that Jordan won two-dunk contests in his career. His free-throw line dunk is still one of the best ones that fans ever saw on the hardwood.

All things considered, Jordan’s ability to pull sensational dunks is more than enough for him to be considered one of the best dunkers of all time.

The second player under the microscope today is former NBA player Gerald Green. While Green doesn’t have an amazing resume like MJ, he could’ve gone toe to toe with ‘His Airness’ in one category. Yes, that category is dunking the ball.

Throughout his career, Green pulled off some seemingly impossible dunks with ease. Moreover, he was one of the better in-game dunkers. Adding to it is the fact that he didn’t have 10 complete fingers, which makes his dunking ability truly astonishing.

Speaking of the two players, and on the occasion of the NBA’s 75 anniversary, the Twitter page of NBA India posted a question for fans all around the world.

Michael Jordan vs Gerald Green. Who do you got?#NBA75 pic.twitter.com/9hz64T1z7m

Choosing a better dunker between the two might be a tough task for most. However, some fans believed that choosing MJ was the obvious choice. On that note, here are some of the best reactions to the tweet.

Whoever picks Gerald over MJ has lost their mind. Gerald is amazing but MJ dunked on every single dominant center of his time. There is almost nobody that he didnt catch.

Some people are just causals that don’t know Gerald, he’s obviously not close to being the player Jordan was but still he’s one of the greatest dunkers of all time, up there with Vince Carter

As expected from true NBA fans, most have picked Green over Jordan for this debate. While Jordan might be the better overall player, Green is definitely the better dunker.

At the end of the day, Mike’s immense popularity might play a role in him getting ahead if a poll was conducted about the topic. Green’s achievement still speaks for his stature as one of the best dunkers of all time.
