Al Horford’s sister Anna Horford hates the Philadelphia 76ers. Period. And she made the fact clear by ridiculing the side during their clash against the Boston Celtics.

Taking to Twitter, Anna wrote, “Don’t mention the @celtics & 76er’s in the same sentence.” And such was the level of her trolling that she didn’t even tag the team in her tweet.

Anna’s tweet wasn’t really well-received by some NBA fans who felt it was unwarranted criticism. Her tweet sparked some backlash on discussion forums.

“I swear the league needs to give player’s family members a crash course on how social media works,” one of the fans wrote on Reddit.

This was seconded by another who said, “She is outrageously cringy and has tweeted many very lame things in the past.” One fan likened it to a popular meme: “Philly and Celtics fanbase are like that Spiderman pointing at each other meme. Equally toxic and hateful.”

The 76ers vs. Celtics game wasn’t without its share of drama. The Boston players and Marcus Smart were involved in a verbal altercation with the fans and that resulted in him getting some of the Sixers’ ardents getting kicked out of the Wells Fargo Center.

Anna will be happy after the Celtics won the clash 110-107 after Jayson Tatum’s game-winner helped them cross the finish line. Irrespective of the result, the rivalry between both the Eastern Conference teams is here to stay.

Anna Horford Can’t Stand Disrespect To The Celtics, And She Slammed Kyrie Irving After He Asked For A Trade From The Nets

Anna’s loyalty to the Boston Celtics has never been in question, and she’s made that clear over the years. Prior to roasting the Sixers, she even took a shot at former Celtic Kyrie Irving after he requested a trade from the Nets earlier this month.

She took to Twitter to share an image of the guard when he was with Boston. Eagle-eyed fans will remember that it was from the day he committed his future to the Celtics but eventually had a controversial exit signing a deal with Brooklyn.

Her tweet didn’t have a caption, but the picture didn’t need one. The image did go viral with Celtics’ fans trolling Irving as well. The development soon after was that he joined the Dallas Mavericks.

Anna has been a true Celtics fan, and she will be happy to see how the team’s doing at the moment, but safe to say, her dig at any other team and the players haven’t gone down well with fans of other franchises.

It remains to be seen if Sixers fans will remember the ridicule and give it back if their team goes the distance and pips the Celtics.
